Job summary

Zachry Philippines, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design and drafting for Power & Control layouts, Lighting, Grounding, and related deliverables in large-scale industrial projects. You will model in 3D, prepare material take-offs, and ensure output meets project specs and schedules.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical design, familiarity with AutoCAD/PDMS-E3D/Smart Plant 3D, and willingness for extended hours and field assignments locally or abroad.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related courses.
• At least 3 years of electrical design and drafting experience for Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and other process-related industrial plants or facilities.
• Experience in Electric Heat Tracing Design is an advantage.
• Use of AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, or similar plant 3D modeling software.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office.
• Smart Plant 3D.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work extended hours as per project requirements.
• Available for field assignments locally and/or overseas.

Responsibilities

• Project Lead: Ensure the company’s Quality Management System and related design and documentation procedures are implemented in all phases of project execution.
• Engineering and Design: Responsible for the design and drafting of electrical drawings for Power & Control Layout, Lighting Layout, Grounding Layouts, and other deliverables ensuring clarity, completeness, and minimal errors in design output and compliance to project specifications, man-hour budget, and schedule.
• 3D modeling of cable tray, electrical equipment, and other electrical works.
• Prepares material take-off for electrical works.
• Others: Ensure that the company’s Administrative, Human Resources, and Safety rules and regulations are followed at all times.
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

• 3D modeling of cable tray, electrical equipment, and other electrical works.

• Prepares material take-off for electrical works.

3. Others

• Ensure that the company’s Administrative, Human Resources, and Safety rules and regulations are followed at all times.

• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
