Job summary

SUEZ Philippines is seeking a Design engineer to study and design water treatment units in Tender or Execution. You will produce 3D digital models, 2D drawings and diagrams for projects or proposals, ensuring quality and schedule alignment.

You will work under Senior IP Engineer or Design Leader, gain experience with Autodesk Revit, and contribute to safe, compliant designs while meeting deadlines and supporting the site needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOCAD 2D/3D, Revit and E3D.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design water treatment facilities per plant processes.
• Model in 2D/3D including civil works, structures, equipment, pipes.
• Prepare plans for proposals or execution under Senior IP Engineer supervision.
• Interpret and carry out PFDs/PIDs.
• Understand and modify piezometric lines.
• Ensure safety and ergonomics compliance.
• Meet deadlines.
• Perform auto-checks on drawings to ensure error-free documents.
• Work with Autodesk Revit and other drafting software.
• Produce piping and material BOQ under supervision.
• Follow up with construction site needs.
• Update shop drawings and as-built documentation.

The Design engineer works on the study and design of water treatment units in Tender or Execution. He is in charge of the production of the 3D digital models, the 2D drawings and diagrams of the project or proposal.

The design engineer is the guarantor of the quality of his studies and the follow-up of the production schedule with the support of a Senior I&P Engineer and/or Design Leader.

Significant Activities

• Design water treatment facilities according to the plant's process.
• Model in 2D/3D, civil engineering works, structures, equipment, pipes/ducts and cable trays.
• Produce plans for the winning of the proposal or the execution of the project under the supervision of and Senior I&P Engineer and/or Design Leader.
• Understand, interpret and carry out PFD/PID diagrams.
• Understand and modify a piezometric line.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics rules.
• Meet deadlines.
• To do auto check of produced drawing in order to issue document free of error.

Comply With The BIM Requirements Required By The Client.

• To work using Autodesk 3D Revit and any other company drafting soft.
• To produce Piping and material BOQ under supervision of Senior I&P Engineer.
• To follow up with construction site need.
• To update shop drawing and As built.
• Can become in future Senior IP Engineer.
• Willing to undergo training regarding company softwareS.
