Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Principal Engineer, Systems (Model based development) to lead embedded control software for peritoneal dialysis systems using a Model‑Based Design approach.

You will design, simulate, and implement control algorithms with MATLAB/Simulink, generate embedded code, and ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 60601, and internal quality processes across teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electronics/comms or related field.
• 15 years of relevant industrial experience in model-based development.
• Experience with IEC 62304, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO 13485 is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and leadership in MBD workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory documentation and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDB activities and manage cross-functional teams to deliver embedded code.
• Define MBD framework, guidelines, and governance for MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder.
• Ensure model coverage, traceability, and code generation quality.
• Collaborate with risk management, regulatory, and quality teams for design controls.
