As a MDB leader for the Peritoneal dialysis systems the candidate will lead the development of embedded control software for complex electromechanical medical devices using a Model‑Based Design (MBD) approach. In this role, you will lead the design, simulation, and implementation of control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, ensuring robust system behavior and seamless integration with hardware components.
You will be responsible for generating high‑quality embedded code through automated workflows, ensuring compliance with relevant software and medical device standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 60601, and internal quality processes. Working within the Systems Engineering team and collaborating closely with Software, Hardware, V&V, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing groups, you will help translate system‑level requirements into validated models and embedded implementations.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, deep experience in MBD workflows, and a solid understanding of real‑time embedded systems. You demonstrate leadership in guiding technical decisions, ensuring design traceability, performing system analysis, managing interfaces, and delivering solutions that support safe, reliable, and innovative medical devices.
