Job summary

Ingram Micro Philippines Inc. is hiring a Principal Technical Support Engineer to solve complex cross‑platform problems and improve the reliability of our digital ecosystem.

This senior IC role spans Support, Engineering, Product, Cloud Operations, SRE, and partner teams. You will lead investigations, define diagnostic standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate to drive permanent fixes and scalable platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical support/engineering or related roles.
• Experience diagnosing complex distributed, cloud, SaaS, API, integrations, or infra issues.
• Experience leading cross‑functional investigations and implementing permanent corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of observability, incident mgmt, problem mgmt, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex customer issues.
• Lead root-cause analyses for major incidents and defects.
• Define diagnostic standards, runbooks, and reusable investigation patterns.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, SRE, and Cloud Ops to improve platform reliability and supportability.
• Translate incident data into prioritized technical recommendations and corrective actions.
• Identify recurring demand to be eliminated via product fixes or automation.
• Design and validate AI-assisted troubleshooting and knowledge workflows.
• Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting requirements.
