Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Principal Business Systems Engineer to support, optimize, and enhance our ERP ecosystem. You will partner with Finance, HR, Accounting, and other functions to deliver reliable solutions and improvements.

This hands-on role combines application support, integrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the enterprise landscape. You will leverage ERP knowledge, SQL skills, and integration tools to drive data integrity and scalable processes while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing enterprise ERP and business applications.
• Strong hands‑on ERP expertise, including system functionality and business processes.
• Strong hands‑on SQL skills for complex queries and data troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, JSON, XML, middleware, or similar tech.
• Experience transforming and handling large data sets.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and support application changes.
• Exposure to ERP financial modules (billing, order-to-cash, AR, revenue) is an advantage.
• Experience with iPaaS or integration tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate) is beneficial.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently across global teams.

As part of our Corporate IT team, you will partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, HR, and other business functions to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient technology solutions.

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role combining enterprise application support, system integrations, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. • Experience supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, JSON, XML, middleware, or comparable technologies.
• Experience analyzing, transforming, and converting large data sets.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and support application changes.
• Exposure to ERP financial modules or processes, particularly billing, order‑to‑cash, accounts receivable, or revenue management, is an advantage.
• Experience with iPaaS or comparable integration tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate) is beneficial; no specific platform is required.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills; able to work independently across global teams.
