Deltek is seeking a Principal Business Systems Engineer to support, optimize, and enhance our ERP ecosystem. You will partner with Finance, HR, Accounting, and other functions to deliver reliable solutions and improvements.

This hands-on role combines application support, integrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the enterprise landscape. You will leverage ERP knowledge, SQL skills, and integration tools to drive data integrity and scalable processes while collaborating

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing enterprise ERP and business applications.
• Strong hands‑on ERP expertise, including system functionality and business processes.
• Strong hands‑on SQL skills for complex queries and data troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, JSON, XML, middleware, or similar tech.
• Experience transforming and handling large data sets.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and support application changes.
• Exposure to ERP financial modules (billing, order-to-cash, AR, revenue) is an advantage.
• Experience with iPaaS or integration tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate) is beneficial.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently across global teams.

Aufgaben

• Support, maintain, and enhance ERP and enterprise applications with focus on reliability and data integrity.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Accounting, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into system improvements.
• Configure, test, deploy, and support enhancements and upgrades across the solution lifecycle.
• Support and troubleshoot ERP integrations, APIs, and data flows across CRM, HRIS, financial, and third-party platforms.
• Use advanced SQL and root-cause analysis to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to deliver secure solutions and manage releases.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in business application support.
