Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
• CPA license preferred or required
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or principal accounting
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Effective communication and stakeholder management

Responsabilités

• Supervise Accounting Executives handling principal accounts and vessel transactions
• Review work output, reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules
• Ensure tasks and reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time
• Provide guidance on complex accounting and operational issues
• Coordinate with operations and principals on outstanding or disputed items
• Monitor balances and reconciliations for principal accounts
• Prepare management reports and principal account analyses
• Analyze variances and recommend operational improvements
• Assist in onboarding, training, and performance of accounting staff
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with policies and controls
