Pharmacare is seeking a Clinical Duties (Primary Care Physician) and Head of Facility to oversee clinical care, leadership, and quality initiatives. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring PhilHealth compliance, and coordinating patient care across the facility.
Ideal candidates hold an MD with active PRC license and accredited PhilHealth status, with preference for experience in community health or LGU-based practice and strong analytical and communication skills.
A. Clinical Duties (Primary Care Physician):
Provide general medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients
Manage acute and chronic illnesses
Prescribe medications and ensure rational drug use
Promote preventive care, health education, and wellness programs
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Ensure proper referral of patients to specialists or higher-level facilities when needed
Support teleconsultation services, if applicable
B. Leadership & Administrative Duties (Head of Facility):
Oversee daily operations of the facility, including staff scheduling and workflow
Supervise and mentor healthcare staff (nurses, encoders, allied personnel)
Ensure compliance with PhilHealth policies and other regulatory requirements
Monitor facility performance, patient volume, and service quality
Ensure proper documentation, billing, and reporting processes
Coordinate with management, partners, and stakeholders for program implementation
C. Quality & Patient Care Management:
Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
Implement clinical guidelines and protocols
Address patient concerns and resolve complaints
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
D. Reporting & Coordination:
Submit regular reports on clinical and operational performance
Represent the facility in meetings and external engagements
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent, with active PRC license.
Must be an Accredited PhilHealth Care Professional / YAKAP/KONSULTA.
Experience in Community Health or LGU-Based practice is highly preferred
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, digital health solutions, or process improvement methodologies (preferred).
Strong interest or background in healthcare innovation, medical technology, or research.
