Job summary

Pharmacare in Cebu City is seeking a licensed Doctor of Medicine to lead as Head of Facility while providing general medical consultations, diagnosis and treatment, and overseeing clinical duties for patients.

The role combines hands-on care with administrative leadership: daily operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, outcome reporting, and collaboration with management and stakeholders to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with active PRC license.
• Accredited PhilHealth Care Professional / YAKAP / KONSULTA.
• Experience in Community Health or LGU-based practice preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, digital health solutions.
• Interest in healthcare innovation or medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and promote rational drug use.
• Promote preventive care, health education, and wellness programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Ensure proper referral to specialists or higher-level facilities.
• Support teleconsultation services, if applicable.
• Oversee daily operations of the facility, including staff scheduling and workflow.
• Supervise and mentor healthcare staff (nurses, encoders, allied personnel).
• Ensure compliance with PhilHealth policies and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor facility performance, patient volume, and service quality.
• Ensure proper documentation, billing, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with management, partners, and stakeholders for program implementation.
• Submit regular reports on clinical and operational performance.
• Represent the facility in meetings and external engagements.
• Implement clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Address patient concerns and resolve complaints.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent, with active PRC license.
