Job summary

The Medical City is seeking a Clinic Physician - GP to deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care at a Pasig clinic. You will assess patients, diagnose and treat, manage care plans, and ensure safe, high-quality services.

You will document thoroughly, follow PhilHealth/HMO requirements, and participate in audits and quality initiatives. We value experience in high-volume outpatient settings and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) graduate.
• Must be a duly licensed Physician by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• 3–6 years post-licensure outpatient clinical experience in a clinic or primary care setting preferred.
• Open to non-diplomate Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physicians with equivalent outpatient experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-patient outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HMO documentation, PhilHealth DRG requirements, and electronic medical records is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care, acute illness management, chronic disease care, preventive care, and health counseling.
• Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
• Issue prescriptions and medical certificates in line with PhilHealth and HMO requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care through proper follow-up and referral documentation.
• Maintain complete medical records and accurate ICD/CPT coding.
• Comply with PhilHealth DRG, HMO, infection control, patient safety, and data privacy rules.
• Maintain active HMO panel accreditation where applicable.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with proper escalation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and physician engagement programs.
• Support onboarding and coordinate with Clinic Manager on scheduling and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care, acute illness management, chronic disease care, preventive care, and health counseling.
• Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referrals.
• Issue prescriptions, medical certificates, and other clinically appropriate documents in compliance with PhilHealth and HMO requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care through proper follow-up instructions and referral documentation.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and appropriate ICD/CPT coding.
• Comply with PhilHealth DRG, HMO, infection control, patient safety, quality, and data privacy requirements.
• Maintain active HMO panel accreditation for applicable HMO partners.
• Respond appropriately to medical concerns, emergencies, and adverse events, with proper escalation when needed.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, clinic meetings, and physician engagement programs.
• Support physician onboarding and coordinate with the Clinic Manager and PCP Operations Officer on scheduling and clinic operations.
