Job summary

Hempel is seeking a Pricing Analyst to drive pricing analysis by market, evaluate price changes, and support profitability and deal closure. You will analyze price dynamics, respond to sales requests, and capture pricing intelligence across product groups.

The role requires strong Excel, Power BI and Power Apps skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently or in a team. You will implement the new pricing strategy and identify revenue opportunities across assigned markets.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance or Business.
• University/Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management.
• Dashboard creation and maintenance.
• Profit-volume analysis and reporting.

Drive pricing analysis by market to understand pricing dynamics: price effectiveness, competitors’ movements, price increases, customer and industry trends.

Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating contribution and price impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

Take pricing actions to enhance profitability and closing deals

Capture pricing intelligence about the competition and potential competitive pricing actions

Identify potential quick wins, revenue and margin optimization opportunities

Own performance of assigned markets/segment in terms of revenue, contribution and price performance across product groups

Implement and roll out our new pricing strategy in your area and thereby shape our future!

What Are We Looking For?

• An educational background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance or Business.
• University / Bachelor’s degree or above
• Proven experience in stakeholder management
• Price performance/Sales performance/Revenue reporting
• Dashboard creation and maintenance
• Profit-volume analysis (profitability analysis)
• Good business sense, proficient in written and oral English.
• Should be able to create business-case scenario.
• Super user in MS office and especially Excel.
• PowerBi report creation, Power apps knowledge.
• Data interpretation i.e. processing large amounts of data and deriving insights out of it.
