Assistant Supervisor – Pricing Department (HVACR, AMEA)
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance.
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Analytics, or Finance is an advantage.
- Pricing qualification or certification (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional) is a plus.
Experience & Skills
- 5 years or more experience in B2B pricing strategy and analytics.
- Strong process‑management experience in a multinational environment.
- Experience working cross‑functionally in a matrix environment at all levels.
- Expert‑level data analysis skills in Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, etc.).
- Data storytelling and root‑cause / gap analysis expertise.
- Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Domo, or similar data management and visualization tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team‑player, detail‑oriented, and results‑oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Price Processing – Receive price requests, prepare comprehensive analysis packages (volume, margin, competition, peer, product capacity) to support approvers, route analysis to authorities, follow up to meet turnaround requirements, maintain log records, monitor and report pricing KPIs, manage pricing databases, send approval forms, coordinate price uploads into Oracle.
- Rebate Processing – Maintain rebate tracker, review draft agreements for template compliance, coordinate with plant finance and sales teams for data, facilitate signature processes, inform finance and sales of approved schemes.
- Ad hoc Requests – Provide price list extracts, cost and GP calculations, strategic analysis for product marketing, and other analytical support as requested.
- Innovation & Process Improvement – Deploy standardization of pricing tools, drive efficiency and documentation, identify and implement process improvements and automation of reports.
- Team Engagement – Plan, lead, and execute team engagement activities.
