Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Centre Supervisor to oversee operations, plan curricula, and engage with students, parents, and community partners. The role emphasizes collaborative curriculum development and staff development within a values-driven preschool setting.

The candidate will coordinate events, monitor program quality, and participate in ongoing appraisal and training to drive school performance. A leadership diploma and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pre-school Education - Leadership (DPE-L) is required.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a childcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the centre's operations including student recruitment, publicity and curriculum planning.
• Organize special community events, excursions, and Parent Collaboration Projects.
• Plan and coordinate innovative projects with community partners such as Residents’ Committee and primary schools.
• Collaborate with staff in long-term planning.
• Participate in appraisal procedures and in-service training for professional development.
• Offer guidance on issues affecting overall school performance.
• Plan, design and evaluate curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the school's vision and values.
• Monitor and improve curriculum quality through regular evaluation and teacher development sessions.
• Review teachers’ lesson preparations and student portfolios; conduct observations and assessments.
• Open and close shifts as needed, totaling at least 44 hours per week.
