Job summary

BlackCube Labs seeks a skilled professional to build and validate emulation and FPGA models from RTL design, supporting testing of new features in simulation, emulation, and hybrid environments.

The role focuses on accelerating RTL development and improving model usability across pre-silicon verification, post-silicon validation, and software development. This is a 2-year contract, requiring collaboration with hardware and software teams in a hybrid Guadalajara setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience in digital design, interfaces, HDL, FPGA, and Linux
• Proficient in programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, Java) and technical English

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and debug hardware and software collateral in simulation, emulation, or FPGA models for testing new features
• Improve usability by RTL validation and debugging on the emulation platform and guide verification teams
• Develop automation aids, flows, and scripts to support emulation utilization
• Participate in SoC and IP bring-up, root-cause testbench issues, IP/SoC test cases, and emulator/FPGA environment issues
