Job summary

Ingram Micro is hiring a Pre-Sales Solution Design Associate to work directly with reseller and internal partners over the phone, helping them build complete technology solutions for their customers. You'll uncover what a customer actually needs, then put together the right mix of products, services, warranties, and support to meet it, while spotting cross-sell opportunities.

This is a consultative, relationship-driven role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in Pre-sales, technology, customer support, or a solutions role.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Willing to work night shift (US timezone) and 10 days RTO monthly.

• Recommend and assemble complete solutions: products, services, warranties, maintenance, and adjacent technologies.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities that add real value.
• Support partners across phone, email, chat, and scheduled virtual meetings.
• Log opportunity details accurately: budget, end user, requirements, decision process, expected close date.
• Hit productivity, engagement, and sales metrics consistently.
• Work with internal teams to keep the customer experience smooth end to end.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Must have at least 2-3 years in Pre-sales, technology, customer support, or a solutions role
• Strong English written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and standard business software
• Able to juggle multiple priorities without losing track of details
• Willing to work on night shift (US timezone) and 10 days RTO monthly (2 consecutive weeks)

Nice to Have

• Technology industry certifications
• Experience selling or supporting technology products and solutions
• Background in consultative sales, account management, inside sales, or technical supportli>
• Working knowledge of IT hardware, software, cloud, or networking
