Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Power Supply Installation Superintendent to supervise and coordinate installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of power supply and distribution systems at project sites. You will ensure work is safe, on schedule, and compliant with specifications and standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in electrical construction, and the ability to manage multiple crews, equipment, and subcontractors while maintaining QA/QC and HSE performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–15 years of experience in electrical construction projects.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, railway, metro, or large-scale projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation activities for power supply and power distribution systems.
• Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress aligns with project schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and technical challenges.
• Oversee installation of MV/LV systems, lighting, transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
• Verify installation quality and compliance with approved NONO drawing.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC personnel and client representatives.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
