Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑voltage substation for a large data centre development. You will drive the full lifecycle from utility interface and design coordination to installation, energisation and handover, coordinating multiple contractors in a mission‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience delivering electrical infrastructure or substation projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems, protection, earthing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and completion of the substation project including grid connection and transformers.
• Manage interface between utility provider, client, designers and construction contractors.
• Oversee HV/MV equipment installation and protection systems.
• Coordinate energisation strategy, outages and safe switching procedures.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and risk registers.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and permits.
