Job summary

Alstom in the Philippines seeks an experienced Power Supply and Distribution Installation Superintendent to supervise and coordinate all site activities related to installation, testing and pre-commissioning of power systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across MV/LV installations and switchgear, while coordinating with teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Relevant trade certification is an advantage.
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in electrical construction projects.
At least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
Experience in industrial, infrastructure, railway, metro, power plant, oil & gas, or large-scale building projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate installation activities for power supply and power distribution systems.
Ensure construction works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Monitor daily site activities and align progress with project schedules.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet objectives.
Identify and resolve construction issues and technical challenges.
Oversee installation of MV/LV systems, lighting, transformers, switchgear, cabling, distribution panels, grounding, and protection systems.
Verify installation quality and compliance with NONO drawings.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and client representatives; review ITPs and procedures.
Coordinate commissioning activities and documentation of test results.
