Job summary

Yunnan Kebo Construction Philippines Corporation in Iloilo City seeks an Electrical Engineering professional to supervise substation and transmission line construction. You will ensure work adheres to approved drawings, specs, and schedules while coordinating with Site Manager, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors.

The role requires 5–8 years in HV substations/lines, knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in substation and transmission line construction.
• Experience with 138kV+ HV substations and lines.
• Familiar with electrical installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and local grid codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics; proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction activities for substation and transmission line projects.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs, schedule and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractors and consultants.
• Review and implement method statements, ITPs, and electrical work procedures.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of substation equipment and transmission line systems.
• Monitor daily progress and prepare accomplishment reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PTW and LOTO systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide technical solutions.
• Verify materials, quantities, and work completion for billing and documentation.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, punch lists and handover documents.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, QA/QC, HSE personnel, subcontractors, and consultants regarding electrical installation activities.
• Review and implement approved method statements, ITPs, and electrical work procedures.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment and transmission line systems.
• Monitor daily work progress and prepare accomplishment reports.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, electrical safety procedures, PTW, and LOTO systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide technical solutions during construction and testing activities.
• Verify materials, quantities, and work completion for billing and project documentation.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, punch-list closure, and handover documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in substation and transmission line construction projects.
• Must have experience in 138kV or higher voltage level substation and transmission line projects.
• Familiar with electrical installation, testing, and commissioning procedures for high-voltage systems.
• Knowledgeable in IEC, IEEE, and local grid code standards.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and related engineering software.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Working‑level English communication skills required.
• Experience in utility‑scale solar or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
