Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (MFE) for the Power EagleTest family. This role focuses on acting as the manufacturing process expert for Power platform products and supports transition, release, and ramp activities for new and existing products.

The MFE will own process definitions, tooling, documentation, and quality controls while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive manufacturability, yield, cycle time, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in complex electromechanical equipment, semiconductor test systems, ATE, or equivalent high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Hands-on expertise in Power (EagleTest) platform manufacturing, including configurations, assembly sequence, and production release requirements.
• Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, root cause analysis, corrective action, process capability, yield improvement, and cycle time reduction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing process owner for EagleTest Power platform products from NPI transfer through sustaining production.
• Lead manufacturing readiness activities: process transfer, pilot and engineering builds, validation, qualification, and ramp.
• Develop, transfer, validate, and stabilize Power platform assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and test interfaces.
• Create and maintain platform-specific manufacturing documentation, including process flows, work instructions, tooling requirements, and inspection criteria.
• Assess manufacturability through DFM/DFA and risk assessment; focus on yield, defects, and throughput.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of manufacturing issues with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners.
• Define manufacturing requirements for pilot builds, engineering builds, process validation, and production transition.
• Evaluate incomplete information, apply judgment, and recommend practical solutions based on risk and priority.
• Support successful product transfer by ensuring readiness, documentation, tooling, material readiness, and ownership of open actions.
