Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field and strong knowledge of market rules and compliance practices.
• Eight years of experience in compliance monitoring or investigations or related fields.
• Awareness of current trends in engineering, accounting, economics, or finance.
• Professional license in engineering or accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance of participants and prepares reports per WESM Rules and market manuals.
• Gathers data from Market Operator, System Operator, trading participants, and other sources.
• Communicates with trading participants to gather necessary data for monitoring.
• Performs validation and verification of submissions in compliance monitoring and assessment.
• Issues Monitoring and Investigation Notices for potential breaches of rules.
• Assists in on-site inspections and verification of technical, financial, and economic data.
• Conducts compliance or investigation conferences to verify information.
• Analyzes technical data (generation, transmission, plant performance, etc.) for compliance.
• Conducts, analyzes, and compiles research related to investigations and compliance.
• Assists in preparing reports on compliance and investigation.
• Assists in designing or enhancing internal processes and tools for monitoring and investigation.
