Job summary

Sarangani Energy Corporation is seeking a Net Settlement Associate in Maasim, Sarangani. You will validate load profiles, reconcile data from multiple sources, and ensure accurate billing for customers.

You will handle disputes related to load profiles and BCQ, coordinate with traders, system operators, and market participants, and help optimize energy allocation for the company. This role requires a degree in engineering/economics/statistics and preferably an EE license, with 2+ years in power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or statistics.
• Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer.
• At least 2 years in trading, billings, or report analytics in power industry.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and validate daily power meter load profiles for WESM plants.
• Secure and reconcile data from plants, energy, WESM schedule, and price for billing.
• Declare energy allocations and spot quantities for Bilateral customers.
• Ensure accurate, fair energy declarations and BCQ reporting.
• Manage customer disputes from load profile and BCQ mismatches.
• Coordinate with customers and departments to reconcile accounts.
• Design and recommend BCQ declaration process improvements.
• Coordinate with Load Dispatcher, Trader, System Operator, and Market Operator on energy allocation.

Job Overview

Responsible for the validation of the load profile using the data gathered from the APSC Trader, WESM Registered PBU Plants, and Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP). Ensure an accurate data is provided to the billing management team for an efficient payment collection. Handles any dispute arising from a mismatch on the load profile and the Bilateral Contracted Quantity (BCQ).

Job Qualification

EDUCATION Holds a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Economics, or Statistics LICENSURE : Not Applicable

LICENSURE Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer

EXPERIENCE With at least 2 years of experience in related functions such as: trading, billings, or report analytics preferably in a Power Industry. Exposure to Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) operations or the Energy Retail Market is also highly preferred.

SKILLS

• 1. Receive, check, and validate the daily power meter load profiles of all WESM registered PBU Plants
• 2. Secure report and reconcile the data from the PBU plants generated energy, meter load profiles, WESM schedule, and price to ensure an accurate bill is generated for issuance to the customers
• 3. Handle declaration of energy allocation and spot quantities to Bilateral customers taking into consideration the maximum potential earnings of the Company.
• 4. Ensure an accurate, fair, and realistic declaration of energy allocation and spot quantities
• 5. Manage customer dispute arising from a mismatch on the load profile and the Bilateral Contracted Quantity (BCQ) report.
• 6. Work with customers and concerned department in reconciling customer accounts and declared allocations
• 7. Design and recommend strategy for an effective BCQ declaration process
• 8. Coordinate with Load Dispatcher, Trader, System Operator, and Market Operator on Ancillary Service Incidental Energy allocation.
