Philippine Electricity Market Corporation ( PEMC ) seeks a qualified professional to support compliance monitoring and investigations under WESM Rules. The role involves collecting data from market operators and participants, validating submissions, and issuing notices for potential breaches.

Monitors compliance of participants and prepares reports, in accordance with the WESM Rules/Retail Market Rules and/or market manuals.
Gathers relevant data or information from the Market Operator, System Operator, trading participants, and from other various sources in relation to the conduct of compliance monitoring and assessment or investigation.
Communicates with the trading participants, as may be necessary, to ensure that all the data or information necessary for compliance monitoring are considered in the process.
Performs validation and further verification of submissions of trading participants in the compliance monitoring and assessment process.
Issues Monitoring and Investigation Notices for potential breaches of the WESM Rules by WESM Participants.
Assist in the conduct of on-site, visual inspection, and verification in relation to technical, financial and/or economic information or data received whenever necessary.
Conducts compliance or investigation conferences to gather and verify legal, technical, financial and/or economic information or data received in relation to the alleged breach of the WESM Rules and/or market manuals.
Conducts analysis of technical data (generation and transmission data which may also include mechanical drawings, instrumentation and control diagrams, fuel analysis reports, plant performance tests, power system analysis, etc.) that may be used for Compliance Monitoring and Investigation.
Conducts, analyzes, and compiles research related to investigation and compliance.
Assists in the preparation of reports on compliance and investigation.
Assists in the design, review, or enhancement of internal business processes or processing tools in the conduct of compliance monitoring and assessment and investigation process on a periodic basis or as may be necessary.
Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Engineering, Accountancy, Economics, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics.
Eight (8) years' work experience and proven track record in one or more of the following: compliance monitoring or investigation, power transmission or generation, commercial investigative work, law, corporate governance, electricity market, finance, economics, accountancy, forensic accounting, statistics, or management audit.
Must be updated in current trends in the respective fields of study. Trainings in investigation, interviewing, fact-finding, compliance, or audit.
Preferably with the professional license for engineers and accountants.
