Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Pasig is seeking a POS Terminal Preparation Specialist. The ideal candidate will prepare, evaluate, and ensure the functionality of POS terminals and routers. Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills are essential. Applicants should be graduates of ABM or STEM courses, and familiarity with computer systems servicing is a plus. This role is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of academic courses in ABM or STEM.
• NC in Computer Systems Servicing is a plus.
• Must be computer literate in Windows-based applications, especially MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, download, test and initialize POS terminals and routers.
• Evaluate received assets for functionality and defects.
• Ensure accuracy in downloaded data and reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accurately prepares, downloads, tests and initializes requested assets for installation or replacement including but not limited to Traditional and Android POS terminals, routers, and other electronic devices

2. Accurate evaluation/checking upon receipt of assets including but not limited to Traditional and Android POS terminals, routers, and other electronic devices received from Inventory Management.

3. Evaluation and checking to include but not limited to functionalities, physical defects, etc.

4. Ensures high level of accuracy and completeness of relevant downloaded data/profiles e.g., MID, TID as per request

5. Accurately prepares and timely submission of daily accomplishment report and all other relevant reports

6. Will actively provide quality assistance & services to Inventory Management, QA, and Field Technician Services as needed

7. Exerts best effort that the Quality Objectives are met; implements and/or carryout quality improvement activities and functions as Preparation Specialist as may be formally and officially defined by the immediate superior or by the executive management

• Graduate of academic course(s) in the area of ABM or STEM
• Has acquired an NC in Computer Systems Servicing is a plus
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team
• Computer literate in Windows-based applications (MS Office) especially MS Excel
