Job summary

Primover Consultancy Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for a POS solution in a retail environment.

You will liaise between business stakeholders, vendors, and the project team to ensure the delivered solution meets objectives and user needs. Responsibilities include conducting requirements workshops, translating requirements into functional specs, process maps, and user stories; defining integrations and data needs;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years BA experience in enterprise system implementations.
• Experience with POS implementations in retail.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for the POS solution.
• Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand processes and store operations.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, use cases, process flows, and user stories.
• Define reporting needs, data consolidation, master data, and integrations across POS, ERP, payment, inventory, and related systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, and business teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Prepare wireframes, process maps, and prototypes for validation.
• Support project governance, traceability, and sign-off sessions with stakeholders.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria; lead SIT/UAT and defect validation.
• Ensure deployment readiness and post-go-live validation; assist in issue resolution and training material review.
