Job summary

MR.DIY Philippines in Rizal is seeking a dependable cashier to join our store team. You will handle payments, operate registers and POS terminals, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or any 4-year course, at least 1 year in a similar role, solid customer service, and strong communication and people skills to work with minimal supervision at Roblou Town Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
• Average communication and people skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to work in Roblou Town Center

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
