Job summary

MR. DIY Philippines is seeking a diligent cashier to join our Town Center Siniloan store. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, background in cashiering with POS experience, and a commitment to quality customer service.

You will perform payments and give receipts, operate registers and card terminals, balance the cash drawer, handle exchanges/refunds, and keep the checkout area tidy. At least 1 year in a similar role, good communication, and computer literacy are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Town Center Siniloan.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
