Job summary

mr-diy Philippines is hiring a cashier to handle payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate pricing at the checkout. The role requires basic math, POS experience, and strong customer service skills. You will balancing cash and maintaining an orderly register area while providing a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has at least 1 year in a similar role, and can work with minimal supervision. Sta. Rosa Nueva Ecija location; onsite work expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in cashiering or retail preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision.
• At least 1 year in a similar industry.
• Able to work with basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give correct change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance cash drawer and generate sales reports.
• Accept payments and provide receipts with accurate pricing.
• Handle exchanges and refunds promptly and courteously.
• Maintain an orderly checkout area and accurate records.
