Job summary

mr-diy-ph Philippines is seeking a diligent cashier with a bachelor’s degree (business or any 4-year course) and POS experience to join our Lemery Batangas team. You will perform basic math functions to collect payments, operate registers, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts.

The ideal candidate is trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision, with average communication and people skills and at least 1 year in a similar industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Business or any 4-year course)
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience
• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
