Job summary

MR. DIY Philippines in Rizal is seeking a cashier to handle payments, operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals, and ensure accurate pricing.

You will balance the cash drawer and provide receipts in a fast-paced Ardi Mall environment. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (Business or related) and have at least 1 year in cashiering or similar roles, with strong customer service and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balance cash drawer and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accept payments, ensuring prices and quantities are accurate and providing receipts.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
