Job summary

PetroChina International Philippines Representative Office seeks a senior sales professional to develop customers for PE, PP, PS and other polymers in the Philippines. You will identify end-users, maintain relationships with buyers, and coordinate samples, quotations and trials to convert opportunities into orders.

The role requires 5+ years in polymers or petrochemicals, existing connections with local converters, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently identify customers and develop business from initial contact to commercial order.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials/Polymer Engineering, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers for PE, PP, PS and other polymers in the Philippines.
• Identify major end-users, converters, importers and distributors.
• Maintain direct relationships with purchasing, technical and senior management personnel of target customers.
• Collect market intelligence including demand, grades, suppliers, origins, prices and competitors.
• Match customer requirements with appropriate product grades.
• Coordinate samples, technical evaluation, product qualification and trial orders.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Develop trial orders into recurring business and annual supply arrangements.
• Monitor and report changes in the local market and contribute to strategic planning.
