Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience handling estimation projects.

Responsibilities

What is the job?

The Plumbing Estimator is responsible for analyzing project requirements, evaluates labor and material costs, and prepares competitive proposals aligned with project specifications, construction standards, and company requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review plumbing drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
• Prepare detailed plumbing cost estimates.
• Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Use historical data and pricing references.
• Interpret construction documents and plumbing requirements.
• Ensure estimates comply with applicable plumbing codes.
• Identify project risks, discrepancies, and cost impacts.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and Hawaii State Building Code.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience handling estimation projects.
