Job summary

Level - Virtual Recruitment & Staffing is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator for a remote role supporting a New York City supplier of interior doors, frames, hardware, and barn doors. The candidate reviews plans, performs takeoffs, and prepares estimates with accuracy and independence.

This remote, full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including HMO, life insurance, paid time off, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous construction estimating experience required.
• Experience with Division 10 products preferred, notably bathroom accessories and partitions.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong numerical accuracy and independent judgment.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in cost research, data entry, and estimating software tools.
• Willingness to learn and use the company’s quoting software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Make basic estimating judgments based on project requirements and available information.

We’re hiring a Full-Time Construction Estimator for one of our clients, a New York City-based supplier specializing in interior doors, frames, hardware, and barn doors for general contractors. The ideal candidate has solid construction estimating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately review plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare estimates. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

This is a remote position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and project documents

• Perform accurate material takeoffs for bathroom accessories and partitions

• Identify required materials, quantities, and project requirements

• Prepare detailed estimates for bidding and quoting

• Enter project details and pricing information into the company’s quoting software

• Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Work independently to complete estimates within required timelines

Schedule:

Rate:

$8.15/hour
