Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-years course, preferably bachelor’s degree.
• 6 months to 1 year relevant experience.
• Knowledge in operating plating machines.
• Willing to be assigned in Simlong, Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Setting up machine to start production cycle.
• Maintains operating condition of plating line machines.
• Maintains cleanliness in the work area.
• Monitors usage of consumable materials and chemicals used in plating.
• Replaces machine filters and conducts chemical addition as advised by QA Analyst.
• Reports any machine defects or error to immediate superior.
• Ensures the quality of finished cylinders to the next process.
• Performs troubleshooting in the line-process if necessary.
• Submits chemical solution samples for laboratory analysis
• Performs daily, monthly and annual preventive maintenance of the machine based on checklist.
• Prepares and submits daily production report, machine running hours, inventory records of machine plating accessories and chemicals.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations (e.g., constant use of personal protective equipment).
• Performs other functions that maybe assigned by immediate Superior.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for Plating Line Operator (Simlong, Batangas)

The Plating Line Operator is responsible for managing several specialized baths used in the coating and preparation of steel-based cylinders. These include the nickel plating bath, which applies a nickel strike layer; the copper plating bath, which adds the required copper thickness; and the degreasing bath, which removes grease or oil from the copper surface. The operator also handles the chroming bath to coat the engraved cylinder with chrome and the dechroming bath to remove old chrome layers in preparation for re-plating.
