Job summary

Manulife Philippines is seeking an Intermediate Cloud Platform Technical Analyst to maintain and enhance the AKS-based cloud platform. You will work with cross‑functional teams to support deployments, monitor performance, and implement improvements for reliability and scalability in a fast‑paced environment.

The role offers hybrid work with on-site days in Quezon City and a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 9am–6pm PHT.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure or platform support roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AKS, Docker, or Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with CLI tools, Git, and basic scripting or automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AKS clusters and related Azure PAAS services (e.g., APIM, ASE, Event Hub).
• Perform Tier 2 triage and troubleshooting of platform issues, escalating as needed.
• Assist in automation and monitoring setup to improve platform reliability and visibility.
• Support platform security, access management, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application onboarding and deployment.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Provide on-call support on the assign schedule.
• Shift Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday – 9am to 6pm PHT
• Work Setup: Hybrid – Required to work on site 3 days per week

• Understanding of cloud architecture and security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and customer‑centric approach.
