Job summary

Globe Telecom in the Philippines seeks a Lead Technical Platform Strategist to bridge business strategy and engineering execution. You will drive platform rationalization, manage technical debt, and govern CapEx across IT systems to maximize value.

You'll represent the business in technical discussions, align roadmaps with Enterprise Architecture and IT Development, monitor platform performance, and explore AI tools and cloud services to modernize the ecosystem while ensuring continuity and cost

Qualifications

Solid understanding of modern software development and programming concepts.
Experience with AI/ML integration in enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with telecom platforms and cloud services.
Strong IT financial management and cost-benefit analysis skills.
Ability to translate technical constraints into business risks and strategies.

Responsibilities

Platform Lifecycle & Governance: Oversee the end-to-end platform lifecycle to maximize business value and reduce technical debt.
Technical Representation: Represent the business in technical discussions, assess opportunities to augment and rationalize core software platforms.
Roadmap & Stakeholder Alignment: Align with Enterprise Architecture and IT Development on integration/replacement roadmaps; coordinate within Broadband for platform requirements.
Financial & Spend Control: Track Non-Network CapEx spend against capability build projects with governance over tech expenditures.
Operational Performance & Continuity: Maintain visibility on platform performance and communicate issues to preserve business continuity.
Technology Modernization: Evaluate and incorporate AI tools, modern programming architectures, and cloud services.
