Job summary

DysrupIT Pty is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. You will support, maintain and improve production platforms across cloud and on‑prem environments, with a focus on BAU production support, service stability and knowledge transfer.

As you grow, you will contribute to platform changes, upgrades, automation and project delivery, working closely with DevOps, Data Services, Product and Delivery teams to deliver end‑to‑end

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform operations, systems engineering or production support.
• Strong, practical BAU and production support experience with ownership of live incidents.
• Strong hands‑on AWS experience in production environments; AWS is the primary cloud requirement.
• Very strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience (Ubuntu & Red Hat).
• Deep networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, TLS and cloud networking.
• Strong MongoDB and PostgreSQL operational experience (backup, restore, monitoring, upgrades).
• Hands‑on Kubernetes experience (deployment health, pods, logs, troubleshooting).
• Scripting & automation with Python and/or PowerShell; Bash is valuable.
• Git/GitHub proficiency for version control of scripts and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise infrastructure and production platforms, including health monitoring and issue resolution.
• Administer and troubleshoot customer environments across core infra, storage, networking and IAM.
• Support Linux environments (Ubuntu/Red Hat) and Windows where required.
• Diagnose complex network/connectivity issues (TCP/IP, VPNs, TLS, cloud networking).
• Manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB production environments (backup, recovery, performance).
• Support Docker and Kubernetes containerised environments; manage container lifecycle & health checks.
• Work with AWS (EKS/ECS) and cloud container services; contribute to capacity management.
• Use scripting (Python/PowerShell) to automate tasks and improve repeatability.
• Document runbooks, implement change controls, and transfer knowledge to teams.
