Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure. This hybrid role (1x a month) in Manila requires strong cloud experience, automation, and on‑call readiness.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Platform Engineering or SRE, with deep AWS, Python, Ruby, Go and Linux (Ubuntu) expertise, plus GitHub repo management and infrastructure automation know‑how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong expertise in AWS, Python, Ruby, Go, and Linux Ubuntu.
• Experience in GitHub repository management and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with ELK (Elastic Search) and automation tools such as Chef and Terraform.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure to support business applications
• Implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and system reliability
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS) ensuring high availability and performance
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide on‑call support when required
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across infrastructure and applications
