Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Platform Engineer in the Philippines (Metro Manila) with remote options for full-time employment. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining internal developer platforms and automation to boost productivity and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform roles, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting skills. CI/CD and IaC expertise are essential, with Kubernetes and observability tooling a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and shared infrastructure services.
• Develop scalable tooling and automation to improve developer productivity and system reliability.
• Support deployment pipelines, CI/CD systems, and infrastructure provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize environments and improve platform usability.
• Ensure platform security, performance, and availability across cloud and hybrid environments.

Your Role

What You Need (Non‑negotiables)

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of developer platforms, internal tooling, or IDP concepts.
• Experience working in Agile or high‑scale engineering environments.
