Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability of production systems and to design automation for deployment and monitoring. The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, cloud platforms, and scripting to keep systems reliable and scalable.

You'll collaborate with development teams, implement observability with logging and metrics, and participate in on-call processes. Hybrid work setup with competitive rewards is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, Go).

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems and services.
• Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

Your Role

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

Preferred Skills/Expertise

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of incident management, on-call processes, and SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience working in Agile or high-availability production environments.
