Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend layers. This role is remote with flexible work arrangements and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will build scalable RESTful APIs, manage databases, and implement CI/CD pipelines while upholding code quality with automated tests and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong frontend skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and modern frameworks.
• Experience with server-side languages (Java, C#, Node.js, Python or PHP) and databases.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications across frontend and backend.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with responsive UIs.
• Develop and manage relational and NoSQL databases to support functionality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technical requirements.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications across frontend and backend layers
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate them with responsive user interfaces
• Develop and manage relational and/or NoSQL databases to support application functionality
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring to ensure system reliability

What You Need

Non‑negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Hands‑on experience in back‑end development using languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Git‑based workflows

Preferred Skills/Expertise

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API security best practices
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for frontend and backend
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
