Job summary

Relumins is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a multi-department team in a fast-growing beauty, wellness, and nutraceuticals company in the Philippines. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong business judgment, and the ability to translate priorities into executable plans.

You will oversee purchasing, supply chain, product development coordination, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight while partnering with senior management to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in operations or business management, preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Experience in FMCG, beauty, skincare, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, e-commerce, distribution, or consumer products is an advantage.
• Strong experience managing multiple departments or cross-functional projects.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory, logistics, finance, HR, sales, and marketing operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of making independent operational decisions and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development from sourcing through commercialization and ensure compliance.
• Partner with Finance on budgets, payments, and cost-control initiatives.
• Supervise and develop department heads and staff.
• Lead special projects and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day company operations and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
• Monitor operational priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Develop and improve internal processes, workflows, controls, and reporting systems.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Provide senior management with regular business and operational updates.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Finance & Accounting, HR & Administration, Purchasing, Logistics, Regulatory, Product Development, and Creative teams.
• Ensure departments are aligned with company objectives and management priorities.
• Conduct operational meetings and monitor commitments and action items.
• Promote accountability among department heads and team members.

Purchasing, Supply Chain & Logistics

• Oversee local and international purchasing requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, purchase planning, inventory requirements, and product replenishment.
• Coordinate warehousing, importation/exportation, and local and international shipments.
• Monitor inventory availability and timely delivery of products and materials.

Product Development & Regulatory Coordination

• Coordinate new product development from sourcing through commercialization.
• Work with suppliers, regulatory teams, consultants, and internal departments.
• Monitor product registrations, documentation, packaging, labeling, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate product testing, clinical studies, and validation activities when required.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Work closely with Finance and Accounting on budgets, purchasing, payments, inventory, cash requirements, and operational expenses.
• Review operational and financial reports to identify risks, variances, and areas requiring attention.
• Support cost-control and operational efficiency initiatives.

People Management

• Supervise and support department heads, supervisors, and staff.
• Set expectations, monitor performance, and strengthen accountability.
• Participate in recruitment, employee development, performance evaluations, and organizational planning.
• Help develop team members and strengthen management capabilities.

Business Growth & Special Projects

• Support new product launches, market expansion, distributor development, and other growth initiatives.
• Coordinate participation in industry events, conventions, professional programs, and business development activities.
• Lead special projects assigned by senior management.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Senior Management / Chief Executive Officer

The Operations Manager will work closely with department heads and key personnel across Philippine operations while coordinating with international teams and business partners as required.
