Job summary

Mighty Lynx Solutions Inc. seeks a results-driven operations leader to oversee day-to-day fabrication plant operations, develop production plans, and optimize equipment utilization to ensure timely delivery of products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years in manufacturing with a proven managerial track record, plus strong lean, quality management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, etc.).
• Strong background in production planning, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day fabrication plant operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and targets in alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor equipment utilization, capacity, and efficiency to maximize output and minimize downtime.
• Establish and enforce compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead initiatives on continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate plant personnel, including supervisors and production teams.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Manage plant budgets and control operating costs without compromising quality and safety.
• Oversee material planning and utilization to reduce waste and optimize resources.
• Track and report on KPIs, such as productivity, efficiency, and scrap rates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical, Supply Chain and Human Resources.
• Prepare and present reports on plant performance, challenges, and recommended solutions to management.
• Support company objectives by implementing strategic initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
