The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years in manufacturing with a proven managerial track record, plus strong lean, quality management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Direct and oversee day-to-day fabrication plant operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and targets in alignment with business objectives.
Monitor equipment utilization, capacity, and efficiency to maximize output and minimize downtime.
Establish and enforce compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead initiatives on continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Supervise, guide, and evaluate plant personnel, including supervisors and production teams.
Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Manage plant budgets and control operating costs without compromising quality and safety.
Oversee material planning and utilization to reduce waste and optimize resources.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as productivity, efficiency, and scrap rates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical, Supply Chain and Human Resources.
Prepare and present reports on plant performance, challenges, and recommended solutions to management.
Support company objectives by implementing strategic initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, etc.).
Strong background in production planning, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
