SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry. JOB SUMMARY:

The Plant Industrial Engineer support operational efficiency by conducting detailed time studies, analyzing production workflows, and providing the essential data needed for production and manpower planning, productivity measurement, capacity analysis, and continuous process improvement. Their work strengthens decision-making by ensuring accurate, timely, and data-driven insights for operations.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor’s Degree Graduate in Industrial Engineering

• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of working experience in Manufacturing Industry. (Fresh graduates are also welcome).

• Skilled in process review, time and motion study, and productivity improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform time and motion studies.

• Conduct on-site observations and measurements to determine current process performance, identify delays and ineAiciencies, and establish accurate cycle times for diAerent operations. Develop standard times and manpower calculations.

• Convert time study results into standard times and use these to determine manpower requirements, staAing levels, and productivity benchmarks aligned with operational targets. Monitor Poultry Plant Operations (PPO) and Farms and Allied Services KPIs and prepare IE reports.

• Track daily and weekly performance indicators such as throughput, line eAiciency, labor utilization, and process yield, and prepare clear, timely reports for management review.

• Assist in layout planning and process mapping.

• Support the design and improvement of facility layouts, process flows, and workstation arrangements to reduce bottlenecks, improve material movement, and enhance safety and productivity. Support improvement projects and collect related data.

• Participate in various IE or cross-functional improvement initiatives by gathering relevant data, validating assumptions, analyzing impacts, and helping execute recommended changes. Provide documentation and analysis for Operations Analyst review.

• Prepare structured reports, visual data summaries, and preliminary analysis for validation by the Operations Analyst, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information used in decision-making.
