Job summary

Golden Zone Garments and Accessories, Inc. in Laguna, Philippines seeks a Production Planner to coordinate order information, prepare production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery for garment products.

You will manage data from sales orders to production lines, ensuring accuracy and timely communication across departments. The role requires preparing Master Production Schedules per section, cascading plans to Managers and Supervisors, and strict monitoring of status to meet commitments.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Industrial Engineering or business-related degree.
• Extensive experience as a production planner in garments/apparel/textile manufacturing.
• Computer proficiency and strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and receives information/docs for booked/confirmed orders (Sales Confirmation, PO, Order List, etc).
• Prepares Master Schedule/Production Schedules per section based on quota, targets and lead times.
• Cascades schedules to Managers/Supervisors and explains commitments and options to meet schedules.
• Strictly monitors production status per section to ensure adherence to plans.

• Gathers and receives all pertinent information/documents regarding booked/confirmed orders such as but not limited to Sales Confirmation, PO, Order List, Confirmed booking, SDS, Material Packing Lists, Material Invoices, etc.
• Prepares the Master Schedule/Production Schedules per section/operation based on agreed parameters such as quota, target output and lead times
• Cascades schedules to the different Managers and Supervisors and explains agreed commitments and best options to meet schedules
• Strictly monitors production status per section to ensure adherence to the plans.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any Business Related Course
• Must have extensive working experience as production planner in garments/apparel/textile manufacturing
• Computer proficient
• With strong organizational and decision making skills
• Analytical and organized
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Can work under minimum supervision
