Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. seeks a Planning Head in the Philippines to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for solar PV construction projects. You will coordinate across PM, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Logistics, and subcontractors to meet milestones and budgets.
You will develop baseline and look-ahead schedules, monitor progress, analyze variances, and prepare progress reports. Travel to project sites is required.
The Planning Head is responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for solar PV construction projects. The position ensures that project activities, manpower, equipment, materials, and resources are properly planned and coordinated to meet project milestones, budget, quality, and completion targets.
Lead the preparation, development, and implementation of the overall project execution plan and construction schedule.
Develop and maintain detailed baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and manpower/equipment schedules.
Monitor actual project progress against the approved schedule and identify delays, critical activities, and schedule risks.
Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Logistics, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of activities.
Establish and monitor project milestones, critical path, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and schedule updates.
Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective and preventive actions to recover project delays.
Review manpower, equipment, material, and resource requirements based on project schedules.
Monitor the progress of major solar construction activities, including site preparation, civil works, piling, mounting structure installation, module installation, electrical works, testing, and commissioning.
Conduct regular planning and progress meetings and document agreed action items and target dates.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls, preferably in solar, renewable energy, construction, or EPC projects.
Experience in solar PV construction projects is highly preferred.
Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of S-Curve, Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), resource loading, and schedule analysis.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, and site operations.
Strong leadership, analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
Willing to travel or be assigned to project sites as required.
