Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead all construction activities at the solar plant site. You will coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel to ensure safe, on-schedule, and within-budget execution.
You will supervise progress, ensure compliance with plans and safety policies, and maintain thorough project records and turnover readiness, working closely with the Project Manager and QA/QC teams.
The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of construction activities at the solar plant project site. The position ensures that construction works are completed safely, on schedule, within the approved budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations. The Construction Manager serves as the primary construction lead at the project site and coordinates the activities of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel.
Lead and supervise all construction activities at the solar plant project site
Ensure that construction activities are carried out according to approved plans, drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements
Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other construction activities
Monitor construction activities against the approved project schedule and conduct regular progress meetings with contractors and project teams
Supervise and monitor the performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved work plans, schedules, specifications, safety requirements, and company policies
Coordinate daily site activities with the Project Manager, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE/Safety, Procurement, and other concerned personnel
Ensure that construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements
Ensure that all construction activities comply with company HSE/Safety policies and applicable laws and regulations
Maintain proper records of construction activities, inspections, site instructions, and other project documentation
Monitor completion of all construction activities and coordinate project turnover activities
Ability to direct and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at the project site
Ability to give reasonable work instructions to contractors and subcontractors within approved project requirements
Ability to require correction of work that does not comply with approved plans, specifications, quality requirements, or safety standards
Ability to identify and evaluate construction-related technical issues and coordinate with Engineering for technical clarification
Ability to monitor actual project accomplishment against planned accomplishment and prepare timely construction reports
