Job summary

Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council in Singapore seeks a diligent professional to manage procurement and estate improvement projects. You will conduct site studies, source pricing, prepare and evaluate tenders, and liaise with contractors, consultants and government agencies to ensure compliant, on-schedule delivery.

You will supervise repairs and capital works, value progress, engage residents, manage public feedback and maintain meticulous records for procurement, tender and quotation matters.

Qualifications

• Only Singaporeans
• Degree/ Diploma in Building/Construction, Property/Real Estate or Project Management related courses
• Have a positive working attitude, proactive and meticulous
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant (multiple projects management) work experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct site studies to determine the scope of work
• Source latest related pricing and best practices to ensure competitiveness
• Prepare, call for and evaluate tenders for term contracts, estate improvement, cyclical projects, upgrading works, etc.
• Liaise with contractor, consultants & government agencies on projects matters
• Liaise with other departments on agreements & compliance matters
• Supervise repairs & replacement, repainting, re-roofing, upgrading of facilities and other cyclical and estate improvement works
• Value works in progress and prepare variations and progress payments
• Engage residents and manage public feedback
• Maintain good housekeeping and record keeping for Procurement / Tender / Quotation matters
